Alisyn Kay grew up in West Bend, Wisconsin.   She took an interest in art from a very early age.  She began taking art classes as a child and continued throughout high school.  Alisyn  received her first commission at the age of 15.  This project was what inspired her to go into the mural painting business. She received her BFA from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 2006.   Her focus at UWM was in painting and drawing.  After graduation, she spent some time in Rome and Florence studying art history.  She  married her husband Jason in May of 2007 and currently lives in West Bend where her studio is located. She has spent the last few years working on a variety of different projects from performance art to large scale murals.
