The act of creating  is what makes Ali come alive.   Art has been her  passion since she was old enough to hold a crayon.  Ali  grew up in West Bend, Wisconsin.   She began taking art classes as a child and continued  throughout her schooling.  Realizing her skill, she started Positive Space in 2003 when she  branched out into mural painting.  She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 2006.   Her focus at UWM was in painting and drawing.  After graduation, she spent some time in Rome and Florence studying art history.   She  married her husband Jason in  2007 and in 2010 she began  a new chapter when she relocated the art company  to Houston TX.   Since then, Ali has worked with numerous talented interior designers  on  a variety of decorative painting projects.
